Old San Juan - Best option when you are short of time
@ San Juan Port or Airport. Discount for groups on
cruise ships. Possible endemics: Emerald,
Spindalis, plus Antillean species: Green-throated
Carib.
San Juan / Piñones - Second best option with limited
time. We will look for several endemics, such as:
Woodpecker, Flycatcher, Emerald, Spindalis,
Oriole, Vireo.
Arecibo - If you are looking for the PR Parrot this
could probably be the only chance to look for this rare
bird. Other endemics, plus PR Pewee and PR
Mango. Our local birders know the where, how,
when, and why of birding in selected site.
New regulations in Puerto Rico require that anyone paid to offer guiding service must be certified by local Government. When hiring a Guide, you should verify that the person is certified by the Puerto Rico Tourism Board. Groups visiting Puerto Rico should and must hire local Certified Tour Guides.
